The Milwaukee Bucks made one of the biggest free agent splashes this offseason when they signed former Detroit Pistons big man Greg Monroe.

While Monroe doesn't bring a great defensive reputation with him to Milwaukee, there's reason to believe the pairing is a perfect fit on both ends of the court.

Here's Matt Moore at CBS Sports with more:

"This can work, especially when you consider the kind of size the Bucks have at the wings, notably Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker, who can leave their man to fiull for the rotating Henson and Antetokounmpo. The Bucks' speed and length on the perimeter helps in this regard, too. That's the real key with big-man defense sometimes. The great ones can cover for the defensive shortcomings of their perimeter defenders, while the not-so-great ones exacerbates problems."
