White Sox reinstate Bonifacio on bereavement list

CLEVELAND (AP) The Chicago White Sox have reinstated infielder Emilio Bonifacio from the bereavement list and optioned infielder Leury Garcia to Triple-A Charlotte.

The White Sox announced the moves before Sunday's game at Cleveland.

Bonifacio, who is hitting .160 with three RBIs in 44 games, was placed on the bereavement list Thursday. Garcia singled in that game in his only plate appearance of the year with the White Sox.

Garcia is batting .301 with one homer, 23 RBIs and 27 stolen bases in 73 games with Charlotte.
