White Sox prospect hit a line drive off his phone in the batting cage

In life, sometimes you're the bat and sometimes you're the ball.

And then sometimes you're just a cell phone caught in the middle of the action.

Chicago White Sox top prospect Tim Anderson was filming himself getting some cage work in, when a line drive heat seeker found his phone:

Somehow, though, his phone survived:

Here's to hoping that Anderson's hard work pays off -- he hit .312 with 21 doubles, 13 triples and five homers in 2015.
