White Sox activate Eaton

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago White Sox activated center fielder Adam Eaton from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.

The speedy leadoff hitter had been on fire before landing on the DL on Aug. 9 with a strained right oblique. He was hitting.435 in his last 22 games prior to going on the disabled list.

The surge raised Eaton's average to .304 for the season. He also has one homer, 32 RBI and 55 runs scored in 94 games.
