Watch Alex Radulov completely deke out defender on great goal

The great comeback story of Alex Radulov rages on in Montreal. On Tuesday night, the Canadiens forward scored what might be one of the best goals you'll see this year.

During the second period of the Habs' game against Ottawa, the 30-year-old Radulov gathered the puck in the offensive zone and completely froze Senators defenseman Mike Hoffman with a great deke. Then, the Russian forward put the puck around Hoffman and essentially turned him into a pylon before driving the net strong and beating goaltender Craig Anderson for the goal.

It gave Radulov his seventh straight game with at least one point, building on what has been an excellent start to the season for the winger. He has 17 points in 18 games and is proving to be a very valuable asset for the Canadiens, who took a chance on Radulov with a one-year contract over the summer.

Many questioned the signing because Radulov hadn't played in the NHL since 2012, when he departed for the KHL with a tarnished reputation. During the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Radulov -- then a member of the Nashville Predators -- was suspended for partying into the late hours of the morning before a playoff game.

But those critics have since been quieted by Radulov's great play and he's making a legitimate case to be the league's comeback player of the year, as well as the best signing Montreal has had in quite some time.
