Wade exits with dislocated finger

Dwyane Wade's injury-riddled April continued on Saturday when the Heat shooting guard left a game against Washington with a dislocated left index finger.

The Heat said he would not return.

Wade, who has been in and out of the lineup lately due to ankle and knee injuries, got his left hand caught in another player's jersey and was clearly in pain as team trainers worked on his hand along the sideline.

He immediately went to the locker room.

Entering the game, Wade was averaging 22.5 points -- his lowest output since his 2003-04 rookie season.

The Heat were already without Chris Bosh, who was resting for the third straight game. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Bosh has "minor ailments" and was being evaluated on a day-to-day basis as the team gears up for the playoffs.

LeBron James was also supposed to be out because of some "minor bumps and bruises" according to Spoelstra, but was getting taped up in the locker room for a possible appearance after Wade went down.
