Vikings trade up to take QB Bridgewater

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings traded up to select Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with the last pick in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night.

The Vikings dealt their second-round pick (No. 40) and a reported fourth-round selection (No. 108) to the Seattle Seahawks to move up eight places to No. 32.

Bridgewater passed for 9,817 yards in three years at Louisville, including 3,970 this past season, and threw for 72 touchdowns, rushing for six more.
