Victor rushes for last-minute TD as Towson beats Delaware 24-17

Towson scored two touchdowns in the final six minutes — including a game-winning 17-yard rush by Darius Victor with 49 seconds left — to upend Delaware 24-17 on Saturday.

Towson was last year's runner-up in the FCS playoffs, but the Tigers (3-5, 1-3 Colonial Athletic) trailed until the final seconds and needed the 14 fourth-quarter points to claim their first conference win.

Delaware (4-3, 2-1) led 14-10 going into the final period on a pair of Trent Hurley keepers from the 1. The Blue Hens drove 97 yards in 14 plays — kept alive by two penalty first downs — to lead 17-10 on Garrett Greenway's career-long 38-yard field goal with 8:23 left.

Towson's Connor Frazier (181 yards passing) guided a 90-yard answering drive ending with a 39-yard strike to Spencer Wilkins. The Tigers forced a three-and-out and Victor carried on five of the next eight plays, scoring from 17.
