Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Jiri Vesely secured the Czech Republic's only win against France in the Davis Cup semifinals Sunday with a straight-set victory over Julien Benneteau.

Vesely's 6-4, 6-3 win kept the Czechs from being shut out in the best-of-five tie at Roland Garros.

France had already clinched a spot in the Davis Cup final for the first time since 2010 when Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet beat Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek in Saturday's doubles match for a 3-0 lead.

Tsonga and Gasquet also earned singles victories on Friday.

Gael Monfils wrapped up a 4-1 win for the French with a 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 win over Lukas Rosol in the last dead rubber on Sunday.

France will meet Switzerland in November in its first Davis Cup final since losing to Serbia four years ago.

The French won the last of their nine Davis Cup titles in 2001.
