Bilbao, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Davis scored 21 points, Kenneth Faried had 15 and the United States rolled to a 98-71 win over New Zealand at the FIBA World Cup on Tuesday.

James Harden added 13 points and Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson scored 12 apiece for the Americans, who have won each of their first three preliminary round games by an average of more than 35 points to sit atop Group C.

They were off Monday after pulling away to beat Turkey on Sunday and overcame another slow start against New Zealand, which was within 27-20 after a bucket at the first-quarter buzzer.

Team USA, which trailed Turkey at halftime, outscored New Zealand 30-15 in the second quarter to pull away.

Benny Anthony Jr. had 11 points to lead New Zealand, which fell to 0-3 in preliminary play.

Team USA also routed New Zealand at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2002 World Championships in Indianapolis.
