Toronto FC has signed Bermudian international midfielder Reggie Lambe, who most recently played in the English Championship, pending receipt of his work permit and International Transfer Certificate.
Lambe, 20, debuted for Bermuda when he was 16 and has since played 12 matches. He scored all four of his international goals in a 7-0 win over St. Martin. He last played for Bristol Rovers on loan from Ipswich Town in England.
"We are very happy to add a young and talented player like Reggie Lambe," said Toronto FC coach and technical director Aron Winter.
"Reggie is a dangerous winger with a great amount of speed and ability. He will be an important player and will fit in well with our club."
Per team and league policies, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
