Houston Texans tight end Ryan Griffin returned after a nine-week absence to play a large role in the team's 10-6 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

Griffin, who had been on injured reserve since spraining his medial collateral ligament Week 1, caught three passes for 36 yards in the win.

On Houston's game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, the third-year tight end hauled in two 15-yard passes from quarterback T.J. Yates that helped set up Yates' 22-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

"It feels great to be back out there with the guys," Griffin said, per the Houston Chronicle. "Especially with the win. I missed this feeling being around these guys. It's good to be back."

A 2013 sixth-round pick out, Griffin has four catches for 54 yards in two games this season.
