Texans sign entire draft class

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Texans on Friday signed their entire 2015 draft class, including first-round pick Kevin Johnson.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Johnson, a cornerback from Wake Forest, was selected by the Texans with the 16th overall pick last week. He played 47 games with the Demon Deacons, starting the last 41, and recorded 191 tackles with seven interceptions in his four seasons.

The Texans also signed second-round pick Benardrick McKinney, a linebacker from Mississippi State who notched 244 tackles, including 19 1/2 for loss, with 7 1/2 sacks and six fumble recoveries for the Bulldogs.

Third-round pick Jaelen Strong, a wide receiver from Arizona State, caught 157 passes for 2,287 yards with 17 touchdowns in 26 games over two seasons.

The remainder of the Texans' draft class included Michigan State receiver Keith Mumphery (fifth round), South Florida linebacker Reshard Cliett and Rice defensive lineman Christian Covington (sixth round) and LSU running back Kenny Hilliard (seventh round).
