Texans LB Mercilus retweets criticism of the team

At 1-4, the Houston Texans are off to a rough start, and while the fans may be disappointed, at least one players seems to think the team is lacking something as well.

Sunday, during the Houston Astros playoff win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 3 of the American League Division Series, veteran Houston Chronicle sportswriter John McClain weighed in with his thoughts.

McClain contrasted the clutch performance of the Astros and starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel with the Texans. As Alex Del Bario of SportsRadio 610 in Houston noted, Texans linebacker Whitney Mercilus, appeared to agree with McClain's sentiments, retweeting the comment to his more than 49,000 followers.

Perhaps having second thoughts, Mercilus rescinded the retweet later in the evening.
