Texans' Foster exits with hamstring issue

Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was forced out of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter due to a hamstring injury.

Foster got hurt on the Texans' first drive of the game and was spotted on the sidelines in street clothes shortly afterward. The 2010 NFL rushing champion totaled 11 yards on four carries prior to departing.

Ben Tate has taken over as Houston's lead back.

Foster entered Sunday's matchup atop the AFC with 531 rushing yards on 117 attempts through the Texans' first six games.
