Temple names Heater defensive coordinator

Temple has named Chuck Heater defensive coordinator.

The Owls and coach Steve Addazio made the announcement on Monday. Heater served as a co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach/recruiting coordinator at Florida.

Heater was not retained as part of Will Muschamp's staff at Florida.

Addazio was the offensive coordinator at Florida. He was hired to replace Al Golden.
