Sylla completes Villa switch

Aston Villa revealed Thursday that the club has signed midfielder Yacouba Sylla from French Ligue 2 side Clermont Foot.

Sylla, 22, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Villans and is expected to be available for the club's trip to Everton on Saturday.

"I can't wait to fight for the club and help the club to climb the table," Sylla told Aston Villa's website. "My first task will be to integrate myself with my new teammates and to help those around me to grow and to build with them a strong team. I'm thrilled to be part of this."
