Surfer makes history by landing first backflip in competition

Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina earned perfect scores Saturday in Rio de Janiero for this double-grab backflip in a heat against Alex Ribeiro during a World Surf League event.

Medina nailed the move and gave the crowd a classic Jordan shrug.
