Super Bowl champ John Lynch to drive Auto Club 400 pace car

Auto Club Speedway announced on Friday that Super Bowl champion John Lynch will drive the pace car for Sunday's Auto Club 400 (3:30 p.m., FOX)

Lynch will join honorary starter, USMC Staff Sergeant Charlie Linville and grand marshal, actor Eric Dane, during pre-race activities.

The NFL veteran played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos during his 15-year career. Lynch is now an analyst for the NFL on FOX.
