Sun sweep home-and-home set with Liberty

Uncasville, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Katie Douglas had 14 points, Alyssa Thomas scored 13 and the Connecticut Sun posted a 76-72 win to sweep a home- and-home set with the New York Liberty.

Kelsey Griffin finished with 12 points and nine rebounds for Connecticut, which has won four games in a row to level its record at 6-6.

Cappie Pondexter scored a game-high 21 points, but committed four of New York's 14 turnovers that resulted in 20 points for the Sun.

The Liberty have lost six of seven to fall to 3-8 this season.
