The Ice Bucket Challenge became a sensation in 2014.

Former New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason, who is battling ALS, has taken the charity event up a notch this year.

A week after President Barack Obama signed the Steve Gleason Act into law, the former New Orleans Saint has challenged the POTUS to do the Ice Bucket Challenge this year.

President Obama is one of the people Gleason has challenged. Among those also on Gleason's list are Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
