Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Steelers signed punter Brad Wing to a one-year contract extension on Friday.

Wing punted 61 times over 16 games for 2,668 yards and placed 20 of his attempts inside the opponents' 20-yard line during his rookie season with the Steelers.

His average of 43.7 yards per punt ranked fifth among first-year punters in franchise history.

The LSU product signed with the Steelers on Jan. 3, 2014 after previously signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2013 NFL Draft.
