Steelers defense rebounds with new (and old) faces

PITTSBURGH (AP) The Pittsburgh Steelers defense restored a little bit of order on Sunday night against Indianapolis.

The Steelers collected five sacks and held the Colts scoreless over the final 38 minutes in a 45-10 win. It's the kind of response coach Mike Tomlin said he was looking for after Pittsburgh struggled to stop Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in a loss to Seattle the previous week.

Tomlin credited the defense for holding the Colts in check early after a pair of turnovers set Indianapolis up deep in Pittsburgh territory. Indianapolis managed just three points, giving the Steelers' offense enough time to find a rhythm and get back in the game.

Pittsburgh (7-5) plays at first-place Cincinnati (10-2) on Sunday.
