Stars extend F Morin

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Stars signed forward Travis Morin to a two-year contract extension on Friday.

Morin, 31, has appeared in five games this season with the Stars, while posting 14 goals and a team-lead 31 points in 30 games for Dallas' AHL affiliate in Texas.

The Minnesota native led the AHL in scoring last season with 88 points and was honored with the Les Cunningham Award as the league's best player.
