San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Danielle Robinson netted 24 points to lead the San Antonio Stars to a 101-74 drubbing of the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday.

Kayla McBride finished with 20 points and Jia Perkins added 16 off the bench in the win.

San Antonio shot a blistering 9-of-15 (60 percent) from 3-point range compared to Los Angeles, which didn't convert a three-point basket in three attempts.

The Sparks trailed by five early on when they used a 12-2 run to take a 21-16 lead with just under two minutes left in the first.

LA had a 27-22 lead after one, but that was quickly diminished after the Stars scored the first eight points of the second. Perkins converted four free throws to start the rally and Shameka Christon nailed a jumper to cap the quarter-opening spurt.

San Antonio brought a 49-44 advantage into the locker room at the half.

The hosts opened it up in the third quarter, outscoring the Sparks 29-16 in the period to stretch the margin to 78-60 entering the fourth.

Candace Parker paced LA with 16 points and Jantel Lavender supplied 15 points off the bench in the setback.
