South Carolina's Shaw sits with ailing shoulder

South Carolina junior quarterback Connor Shaw did not start Saturday's game against East Carolina because of a shoulder injury.

Shaw suffered a bruised right shoulder during last week's game against Vanderbilt and was limited in practice this week for the ninth-ranked Gamecocks.

Sophomore Dylan Thompson got the start in Shaw's place.
