South African police: Argentine hooligan held

JOHANNESBURG (AP) — South African police say another Argentine soccer hooligan is being held at Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo airport after being prevented from entering the country for the World Cup.

Police said Wednesday the man was a troublemaker and had arrived on a flight from Brazil on Tuesday. The hooligan, who was not identified, was in airport holding facilities and was set to be deported later Wednesday.

Ten known hooligans from Argentina have already been deported from South Africa after traveling here for the tournament.

The Argentine embassy also said two other men, Armando Travacio and Daniel Aguilera, were stopped after flying in from Angola. Embassy attache Adrian Vernis said he had not been told why the two were being held.
