Siena tops Bologna to move into positive points

Emanuele Calaio scored after the hour mark as Siena edged Bologna, 1-0, on Thursday to move into positive points in Serie A after starting the season with a six-point penalty for match-fixing.

Siena has two wins and two draws through five matches, but sits just one point off the bottom of the standings after its victory over Bologna at the Stadio Comunale.

Bologna lost for the third time through five fixtures and has just four points but is in 15th place, two points clear of 18th-place Siena.
