Andreas Seppi of Italy outlasted Brazil's Thomaz Bellucci in Sunday's final at the Kremlin Cup.

The second-seeded Seppi rallied past Bellucci, the No. 4 seed, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 to capture his second title of 2012.

The Italian won in Belgrade back in May, then lost to Andy Roddick in Eastbourne in June and fell to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Metz last month. Seppi improved to 3-3 in career finals.

"It is very special to win this title as I remember Yevgeny (Kafelnikov) winning so many times here and he was my idol growing up," Seppi said. "I saw him a few times this week but I was too shy to ask him anything. It has been a great season for me. Winning titles is so special. Now I have won on all surfaces and that means a lot."

Bellucci was trying to claim his second title of the year after beating Janko Tipsarevic in Gstaad back in July. He fell to 3-2 all-time in title matches.

Seppi leads the all-time series with Bellucci by a 2-1 margin.

With the win, Seppi took home $121,520.
