Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Ottawa Senators agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with goaltender Matt O'Connor on Saturday.

O'Connor, an undrafted free agent, arrives fresh from a trip to the Frozen Four with Boston University. He posted a 25-4-4 record, 2.18 goals-against average, .927 save percentage and a pair of shutouts this past season for the Terriers, who advanced to the national title game before losing to conference rival Providence.

The native of Toronto finished his college career at 40-21-10 along with a 2.55 GAA, .921 save percentage and three shutouts over 76 appearances in three seasons.

Ottawa, which gained a playoff berth thanks to the emergence of rookie Andrew Hammond, added to its organizational crease depth. The Sens also boast NHLers Craig Anderson and Robin Lehner, along with AHL talents Peter Mannino and Scott Greenham.
