Renton, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Seattle Seahawks signed veteran offensive lineman Wade Smith on Monday.

Smith started 64 straight games over the last four seasons for the Texans.

The 33-year-old Smith has played in 138 career games (98 starts) with the Chiefs, Jets and Dolphins, who made him a third-round pick in 2003.

Seattle also released linebacker Brandon Denmark and wide receiver Ronald Johnson, signed defensive tackle Andru Pulu and claimed offensive tackle Cory Brandon off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals.
