SE Louisiana QB Bennett to play in Senior Bowl

Mobile, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Southeastern Louisiana quarterback Bryan Bennett has been added to the South roster for the Reese's Senior Bowl on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

He is the third former Southeastern Louisiana standout to play in the college all-star game, joining Ronnie Hornsby and Robert Alford.

Bennett played two seasons at SLU after transferring in from Oregon. The two- time Walter Payton Award finalist rushed for 1,715 yards and 31 touchdowns and passed for 5,522 yards and 39 touchdowns over his two seasons.

Ten other FCS players were invited previously to this year's Senior Bowl.
