Juan Carlos Salgado retained his IBF contest decision against Miguel Beltran Jr.
Salgado (24-1-1) was cut above his left eye by an unintentional head butt from Beltran (26-1) in the second round.
The cut was too severe for Salgado to continue and the fight ended in a no contest, allowing Salgado to keep the belt in his first title defense.
The bout was scheduled for 12 rounds.
