Saints sell Superdome naming rights to Mercedes-Benz

The New Orleans Saints and Mercedes-Benz year naming rights deal for the recently renovated Superdome.

The Times-Picayune reports that the new name of the iconic stadium will be Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The agreement will be officially announced at a news conference Tuesday.

For the first time in the stadium's 36-year history, the building will be known by something other than the Louisiana Superdome.
