The Buffalo Sabres' continued chase for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference will be shown on national television Tuesday night.

Buffalo, which now trails the Carolina Hurricanes by just two points, will visit the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. ET and can be seen on Versus in the U.S and TSN2 in Canada. Brad Boyes, who was acquired from St. Louis on Sunday night, is expected to make his Sabres' debut.

The Rangers lost backup goaltender Martin Biron to a broken collarbone during Monday's practice. New York is just five points ahead of Buffalo.

Canadian fans will also be treated to two other games -- the Montreal Canadiens visit the Atlanta Thrashers (7 p.m. ET) in a showdown that can be seen on RDS, while the Ottawa Senators-Boston Bruins match from Scotiabank Place will be shown on TSN. That game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
