LOS ANGELES (AP) Rookie infielder Corey Seager and veteran outfielder Justin Ruggiano are among 14 position players on the Los Angeles Dodgers' roster for the NL Division Series against the New York Mets.

The team announced its 25-man roster Friday, hours before ace Clayton Kershaw opposed Jacob deGrom of the Mets in Game 1 at Dodger Stadium.

Seager hit .337 in 27 games for the Dodgers after being called up from the minors. Ruggiano, who started the season with Seattle, was at Triple-A Tacoma before being acquired late in the season. The 33-year-old hit .291 in 21 games with the Dodgers.

As expected, the Dodgers will have a four-man rotation of Kershaw, Zack Greinke, Brett Anderson and Alex Wood. The bullpen is made up of right-handers Pedro Baez, Yimi Garcia, Chris Hatcher, closer Kenley Jansen and Joel Peralta, along with left-handers Luis Avilan and J.P. Howell.

Veteran second baseman Chase Utley made the roster, as did outfielder Yasiel Puig, who missed the final month of the regular season with a strained hamstring.

Not on the roster was infielder/outfielder Scott Van Slyke, whose wrist injury didn't heal in time. Among the pitchers left off were Mike Bolsinger, Carlos Frias and Juan Nicasio.
