And injury to right guard Brandon Linder provided Jacksonville Jaguars rookie A.J. Cann with an opportunity to make his first NFL start in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Cann, Jacksonville's third-round pick in last April's draft started in place of Linder, who missed the game with a shoulder injury suffered Sept. 23. Linder was able to play in last week's loss to the New England Patriots, before being declared out for the Colts' game.

"It was how I expected -- tough and physical," Cann said, per the Florida Times-Union. "It was fun and I feel blessed that I had an opportunity show what I can do.

"There were some things I can get better at, but overall I think I did a decent job. I didn't have too many screw-ups mentally."

Cann made it through the game without being called for a penalty.
