Rockies place Dickerson on DL

Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies placed outfielder Corey Dickerson on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.

Dickerson, who has been shelved due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, was hitting .306 with five doubles, five home runs and 16 RBI over 33 games for the Rockies this year.

Colorado recalled infielder/outfielder Ben Paulsen from Triple-A Albuquerque. Paulsen hit .317 with four homers and 10 RBI over 31 appearances with the Rox last season. He batted .256 in 36 contests for the Dukes in 2015.
