Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jordan Lyles left Wednesday's start against the Los Angeles Angels after he was hit in the hand with a line drive by Albert Pujols in the first inning.

The ball ricocheted off Lyles' right hand to second baseman DJ LeMahieu, who retired Pujols to end the inning.

Christian Bergman relieved Lyles to start the second inning.

Lyles suffered a broken left hand last season which required a stint on the disabled list.
