Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies activated outfielder Michael Cuddyer from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.

Cuddyer, the 2013 National League batting champion, suffered a hamstring injury in a 3-1 Rockies win on April 17. Prior to his stint on the DL, Cuddyer batted .317 with three home runs and 10 RBI through 16 games.

The Rockies optioned pitcher Chris Martin to Triple-A Colorado Springs to make room for Cuddyer. Martin made his Major League debut on April 26 and over nine relief appearances, the 27-year-old right-hander allowed four runs on 10 hits in 8 2/3 innings.
