Rockets coach McHale back on sideline

Houston Rockets head coach Kevin McHale will be back on the sideline coaching his team during Saturday's tilt against the Dallas Mavericks.

McHale has been on a leave of absence since Nov. 10 for personal reasons and it was later revealed that his 23-year-old daughter Alexandra, who had battled Lupus, unexpectedly passed away on Nov. 24.

Assistant coach Kelvin Sampson has been handling the head coaching duties in McHale's absence.

The Rockets went 7-6 with McHale away from the squad.
