Richt finds 'no separation' in Georgia's QB competition

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Georgia coach Mark Richt says ''there's no separation'' in the quarterback race following the first scrimmage of the preseason.

Brice Ramsey, who was the backup to 2014 senior Hutson Mason, may be the favorite in the race that also includes Faton Bauta and Virginia transfer Greyson Lambert. Georgia says no statistics were kept in the scrimmage, which was closed to reporters.

Richt says the snaps were spread evenly between the quarterbacks. He says the second-team offensive line needs to improve.

The team's annual picture day also was held Saturday where the big attraction was ''Que,'' the grandson of mascot Uga IX. Que is expected to be named the team's new mascot this season.
