Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins will once again have Robert Griffin III under center, this coming Saturday in a divisional matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden announced the move, saying: "It's important for our offense to rally around him, and to play well around him also. When it's all said and done, we've given up a lot of sacks, no question about it."

Griffin replaced an injured Colt McCoy in Sunday's 24-13 loss to the New York Giants. Griffin completed 18-of-27 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown in place of McCoy, who aggravated a previous neck strain on Washington's opening series.

The third-year pro out of Baylor has taken part in just seven of the Redskins' 14 games this year, collecting 1,138 yards along with three TD passes and three interceptions, adding 146 yards on 27 carries. He has also been sacked 28 times.
