Report: Tiger once dated country singer

Golfer Tiger Woods once dated country singer LeAnn Rimes, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

The serial cheater went out with the singer-turned-actress "a few times" before she married her soon to be ex-husband Dean Sheremet in 2002, a source told the magazine.

Rimes' father intervened because he thought his teenage daughter was too young for Woods, who was 7 years her senior, according to the source.

The source told the magazine, "Tiger was really into her. He likes those blondes!"

Woods underwent sex addiction therapy after cheating on his wife with a series of women. Rimes and Sheremet split after her on-set affair with co-star Eddie Cibrian during the filming of Lifetime movie "Northern Lights" in 2009.
