An accident involving two buses carrying members of the Washington Redskins will cost the city of Minneapolis $237,254, Eric Roper of the Star-Tribune reports.

The accident occurred last November, during a Redskins road trip to face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9 of the 2014 NFL season. It happened while off-duty police officers were escorting the team was being escorted to TCF Bank stadium.

The Star-Tribune described the scene as follows:

After the accident, Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon snapped a photograph of the minor wreckage and posted it on his Instagram account.

Redskins running back Silas Redd suffered back spasms as a result of the collision and ended up missing the game, according to Matt Vensel of the Star-Tribune.

The Redskins lost that game to the Vikings, 29-26, as Minnesota's Teddy Bridgewater engineered a fourth-quarter comeback to take down Washington's Robert Griffin III in his first game back from an ankle injury suffered earlier that season.
