Report: Larkin to declare for NBA Draft

Miami-Florida sophomore guard Shane Larkin is set to make an announcement about his playing future on Sunday, but a report has indicated that he will enter the NBA Draft.

Yahoo! Sports cited league sources on Friday as saying Larkin has set up meetings with prospective agents next week in New York.

Larkin responded to a report earlier this week that speculated about his future, saying he hadn't yet declared for the draft.

"Don't listen to whoever put the rumor out that I declared," Larkin wrote on his Twitter feed. "It isn't true. I will make an announcement Sunday at 6 about my future."

Sunday is the deadline for underclassmen to make their decisions.

Larkin helped the Hurricanes to an ACC regular-season title and a conference tournament championship this past season. He averaged a team-best 14.5 points and 4.6 assists in 36 games.

Miami finished 29-7, falling to Marquette in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
