Report: Jagr remaining in Russia

According to The Cult of Hockey blog at the Edmonton Journal, Jaromir Jagr has signed a one-year deal to remain with Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.

"If it didn't work out there, I'd have to start looking at other options," Jagr said. "But I just didn't want to be engaged in multiple negotiations that would force me eventually to decide which direction to take."
