(SportsNetwork.com) - The Memphis Grizzlies have reportedly landed free-agent guard Vince Carter.

The well-traveled veteran agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract with the Grizzlies, Yahoo Sports reported late Friday.

Carter, 37, averaged 11.9 points in 81 games for the Dallas Mavericks during his 16th NBA season.

It was his third season with Dallas following stops with Toronto, New Jersey, Orlando and Phoenix. Carter has averaged 20.2 points in 1,148 NBA games.

He hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to win a first-round playoff game against San Antonio on April 26 but the Mavericks were ousted in seven games by the eventual NBA champions.
