Rays second-round draft pick undergoes Tommy John surgery

The Tampa Bay Rays second-round draft pick, pitcher Chris Betts, is officially part of the #TommyJohnClub.

The righty took to Twitter to announce he has undergone the surgery.

The road to recovery now begins; he might want to keep those pillows underneath his elbow, the Rays have quite an investment there.
