Rays activate Scott

The Tampa Bay Rays activated designated hitter Luke Scott from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.
Scott, who last appeared in a game for the Rays on July 20, is hitting .225 with 12 homers and 45 RBI in 68 games this season.
Tampa Bay also optioned infielder Sean Rodriguez to Triple-A Durham. He was hitting .215 and led the team with 14 errors.
